chic-hens will take part in the Bloom Flower Show in Dublin from Thursday 3 June to Monday 7 June 2010.
Following its phenomenal successes in 2007 and 2008 and another spectacular show in 2009, Bloom has become a national favourite and one of the most anticipated events on the Irish calendar. Hosted by Bord Bia, Bloom took place in 2009 from May 28th - June 1st in the Phoenix Park and attracted a record number of visitors. The show has something for everyone with wonderful gardens, floral displays, farmers market, entertainment stages, family fun zone and so much more. www.bloominthepark.com |

We were given the amazing opportunity last year of working with the producers of an exciting business development programme which appeared on RTE1 called 'Higher Ground'.
chic-hens appeared on the programme on Wednesday 12th August 2009.
"Higher Ground follows the progress of eight budding entrepreneurs from all over Ireland. They possess innovative ideas and will attempt to diversify their business to beat the rapidly growing recession. The series is designed to motivate rural entrepreneurs to take an inventive approach to a new business and help them to turn their original ideas into reality".
Thank you to Peter Young and Paul McCarthy for their invaluable mentoring throughout the process. I feel that they both have given me sound advice, direction and focus, and helped me take my business to a new level.
